First Sergeant Conrad Steven "Duke" Hauser surveyed the land ahead of him and planned what he was going to do. Hidden in the bush behind him were the other nine members of his recon team. They'd landed at the airport in Maputo, such as it was, and then been trucked up north until they were near the border with Zambia. They'd been left on the side of the 221 highway, just over forty kilometres from the border. From there, they were to make their way across the narrowest stretch of a hundred and seventy-five kilometres of Zambia to sneak into the recently formed nation of Trucia Abysmia. Almost overnight it had popped up and eviscerated territory across Africa from the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian Ocean from a dozen major nations. Mozambique was the closest nation that hadn't given territory in the expansion, but was cut off by the neighbouring countries from access. What was peculiar was that every nation with a direct border had bled at least some marginal amount of territory and yet still maintained treaties with the new nation.
Someone higher up in the G.I. Joe organization had decided that the country merited investigation in relation to the Cobra organization, though it was far from clear why, and Duke had been brought in to lead a team of recently recruited Joes, only Java existed on the official roster as yet. Of course, should anything go wrong it would fall squarely on Duke's shoulders and the officers would deny it. Wasn't the first time he shrugged to himself.

Occasionally, toy companies throw us a curve ball and makes one set of toys in scale with the next. This is very rare with each reboot of a series but is now becoming increasingly common as companies are starting to each produce their own line of 3.75" figures. For GI Joe customizers like myself, it is very difficult to find an old head that is the right size to sit on a pair of 25th or Modern Era shoulders. ToyCustomizer.com is a community website designed and run by Edgar Millan (aka Bamphalas). The site hopes to offer a variety of articles and features to help fellow customizers. The site is currently under construction, so most features are not available yet. However, this site will be continuously evolving. We now have a forum but will not stop there. I would also like to feature helpful articles such as tutorials and product reviews. Contests and user-created galleries are also planned. ToyCustomizer.com is essentially built with the adult customizer in mind. I require that all members are ages 21 and up. This does not mean that our site caters to sexual material. It simply means that I want the community to have the ability to converse with each other as adults without the need to have someone looking over them. While there are young people who are in the hobby, the number of adults far outweighs the number of children. I am looking for site submissions. If you have any tutorials you'd like to be posted on the site, please let me know. Also, if you'd like to do a comparison or review of products available for customizing, I'd like to hear about that as well. Of course, I welcome you to post your work in the forums.
